The Company is engaged in the design, manufacturing, sale, technology development, consulting, transfer and services of vibration isolator, noise and vibration control equipments, general machinery and fittings, as well as integration of vibration isolation and noise reduction system in the shipbuilding, transportation and energy fields. By reliance on technology and scientific research strength of CSIC Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute, the Company is aimed to be a leader of vibration isolation and noise reduction products and services in China.
Covering an area of 5000m2, WQVI has registered capital of RMB 6 million, and owns 50 employees (10 intermediate and senior technicians), the sulfuration, rubber mixing, surface treatment, post processing and other workshops, advanced testing equipments, and annual output over 20 thousand sets.

Founded in 1963, CSIS Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute (SMDERI) is the sole marine diesel engine research and development institution of China subordinated to CSIC (China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation).
