Wuxi Qiyaohuadong Vibration Isolation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “WQVI” or the “Company”) is a modern joint venture enterprise founded by CSIC Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute, which is located in the Yangming Oumei Industrial Park, Wuxi National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
The Company is engaged in the design, manufacturing, sale, technology development, consulting, transfer and services of vibration isolator, noise and vibration control equipments, general machinery and fittings, as well as integration of vibration isolation and noise reduction system in the shipbuilding, transportation and energy fields. By reliance on technology and scientific research strength of CSIC Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute, the Company is aimed to be a leader of vibration isolation and noise reduction products and services in China.
Covering an area of 5000m2, WQVI has registered capital of RMB 6 million, and owns 50 employees (10 intermediate and senior technicians), the sulfuration, rubber mixing, surface treatment, post processing and other workshops, advanced testing equipments, and annual output over 20 thousand sets.
WQVI has passed GB/T 19001-2008 quality management system certification by CCS and DNV-GL. The vibration isolator and clamp type hose assembly manufactured by the company are granted the factory type certificates of CCS.

SMDERI Profile——Business divisions related to Qiyao
Power Plant Division
The Power Plant Division is specialized in design, development, manufacturing and services of power system integration and auxiliary products, and has formed the power system integration, vibration and noise reduction, transmission gear, diesel engine parts, stationary and ship electric power plant, gas engine, sea water desalination device, energy saving and environmental protection and other ship supporting products and business fields. Its annual output value is near RMB 500 million.
This division owns 7 large laboratories, such as a national laboratory of ship power system, and over 1300 sets of advanced equipments and instruments to provide strong technical supports for research and development of new technologies and products.
Vibration and Noise Reduction Division
As a business division subordinated to the Power Plant Division, the Vibration and Noise Reduction Division is one of the strongest teams in the domestic field specialized in vibration, noise, torsional vibration and impact, which is one of the leading professions of SMDERI. It owns 74 employees (excluding Wuxi Qiyao), including 5 researchers, 17 senior engineers, 5 doctors, 37 masters, 1 doctoral supervisor and 1 master’s supervisor, forming a scientific research tem composed of young and old echelon, academic leader and young technical backbone. It is mainly engaged in technology research and technical services of low-noise ship power system integration, power plant and its vibration and noise control, impact resistance and axial vibration control, as well as design, development, manufacturing and testing of relevant products. Main products include ship vibration and noise assessment and total solution, various types of silencer, vibration isolator, isolation mounting, sound arrester and quiet type power system etc., which are widely used in shipbuilding, metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power, hotel and automotive industries.
Besides the “vibration and noise testing ＆ calibration laboratory” recognized by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and CNCAL, SMDERI owns the semi-anechoic laboratory, reverb laboratory, diesel engine vibration isolation laboratory, axial vibration laboratory, floating raft laboratory, piping vibration laboratory, vibration isolating element laboratory and mechanical impedance laboratory.
